Recently, TCRC National Officers had the privilege of attending two important membership meetings in British Columbia.
On September 9th, President Paul Boucher, Vice President Ryan Finnson, Secretary-Treasurer Chris Lowe, and National Representative Jason Hnatiuk attended the regular meeting of Division 855 in Kamloops (CN). Members were provided with updates on key issues, including the ongoing Section 107 challenge.
On September 10th, they were joined by Dave Fulton, Greg Lawrenson, and Brandon Myre from the General Chair Offices for a special meeting in Revelstoke with Division 657 (CP). Discussions focused on critical matters facing our members, including contract negotiations, the Section 107 challenge, and the recent material change issued at the terminal.
We want to sincerely thank both Divisions for the strong turnout and active participation. Your questions and engagement reflect the strength of our union and the solidarity that continues to drive us forward.
Despite the significant challenges placed in our way by both the employers and the federal government, your officers remain steadfast in defending your rights and advancing your interests. Meetings like these are a reminder that when we stand together, we are stronger, more informed, and better prepared to face whatever lies ahead.
In solidarity,
Teamsters Canada Rail Conference
